First half was quite dull but overall I liked it.
It's about a book so it sounds stupidly obvious but (I personally think it's not just because of that) it was like reading a book and I think it would be so much more fun and interesting if it was a book. I give it a few minus points for the bad pace and strange choice of music, but the story and Emma Thompson are superb. (And I give it an extra point for having Monty Python's the Meaning of Life footage ;-))

前半展開が遅く、ちょっと飽きてしまったけど、最後はスゴく好きになった。
主役がウィル・ファレル（アカデミー賞でジャック・ブラックと面白い歌を歌った人）というので、笑いたくなってしまうのだが、結構シリアスなドラマ。とにかくこの映画の一番よかったところはエマ・トンプソン！！彼女こんなにスゴい女優だったっけ？と思ってしまうくらいすごーく良くて、ずっと見ていたいくらいだった。ストーリーは彼女が書く小説に基づく話なので当たり前のように聞こえるかもしれないが、この話を小説にしたらもの凄く面白い本になると思う。しかしオリジナル脚本なので小説としては存在しない．．．残念。そして今調べて分った．．．これ、ジョニー・デップのネバーランドとハル・ベリーのチョコレートの監督だった！！意外．．．
