Daremo Shiranai

I watched Daremo Shiranai (Nobody Knows). What a film. I was drawn to it right from the beginning. Akira (played by 12-year-old Yuya Yagira who won the best actor at Cannes 2004) is a father figure for his sisters and brother of different fathers as his mother is mostly away because of a "business trip".
He acts like an adult and yet is still a boy who wants to go to school and play with others of his age. You shouldn't miss one of the best performace by Yuya Yagira. (Academy didn't even nominate it for any categories.) It's horrifying (not like you want to cover your eyes) but at the same time you still feel the different seasons through the film. Please watch it when you have chance.
